Microsoft Windows Surface | Windows 8 Tablet
Today at Microsoft’s yearly event where they usually release all of the upcoming hardware and software goodness, they revealed a video showing off Surface. Surface is Microsoft’s Windows 8 tablet that is rumored to come out in late 2012. In this video, it reveals several features to us. One feature, quite obviously, is that the tablet will be running Windows 8. Some features relating to the keyboard are that it will be attached to the tablet by magnets, much like the iPad’s smart cover. The keyboard looks very sleek, thin, and feature very low profile keys. The keyboard for the Windows Tablet will also come in many colors. Relating to the glass screen, all that we can really get from the video is that it will be somewhat scratch resistant, judging by the video, showing small pulverized rocks sliding all over it. It also looks semi-water resistant, because in the video, it shows water drops trancing around on it. Although, about the rocks and the water bits, I can’t tell if it was for actual features, or just for awesome video production. This video was really just an epic video showing glamour shots of the Windows tablet while playing intense music, crazy video effects, and lighting effects. This video was meant to get people pumped up, and it succeeded so watch the one minute video below.
